WWJE: Breakfast Examples

Hot barley cereal with stewed dates

Poached eggs with sautéed spinach, onions and garlic

Fruit plate with apples, figs, dates and almonds

European (Greek) yogurt with stewed figs

Bread with honey and melon slices

WWJE muffins made with almond flour -

3 C almond flour, ½ t baking soda, ¼ t sea salt, 1t ground cinnamon, 1 ½ C pomegranate seeds, chopped figs or chopped dates, 1/2 C honey, 3 eggs. Heat oven to 325 degrees.  Spray olive oil in muffin tin. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine wet ingredients in another bowl. Add the dry to the wet and mix well. Fill tin with batter. Bake 18-20 minutes.
